Summer in the Cottage |
There is no other place in Canada worth visiting this summer than Muskoka. This was where the G-8 was held when Canada hosted the heads of the G-8 countries.
This summer playground of Toronto has been a favourite not only of Canadians but the Americans south of the border have been coming here way back in the previous century. They still continue to do so with a few trickle of celebrities with their own cottages here.
There are major parks around like the Algonquin Park where you can spend time camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking or canoing, whatever your fancy is of the moment.
Check out some of the quaint towns like Rosseau, Bracebridge, or Port Carling. Don't forget, of course, the historic town of Huntsville. Parry Sound if you are a fan of Bobby Orr.
